REUSE 2016

REUSE is an annual interactive event experience that takes place in the Yarmouk Culture Center, Kuwait. The event, which was held in April, 2016 featured over 20 local and international artists who hosted a two day exhibition.

I teamed up with @supersoulxxx and named the collaboration “Soul XXX Kicks”.
The installation consisted of three displays:

1. The History of Air Jordans with a “Then and Now” theme:
Showcased were a collection of my Jordans from model 1-12. Each model displayed were in the original colorway along with a modern day version. E.G. Chicago 1s and the Fragment 1s

2. The “Yeezy-Nomics” installation represented the phenomenon of sneaker resale prices. Displayed were most of the Yeezy models, starting from the LV Ibn Jaspers, listed at $10K all the way to the Adidas Yeezy 950s which go for $700.

3. A gaming machine where you could win a pair of limited sneakers for a small price. Nobody won!
